Effective mixer for continuous powder mixing into a liquid stream. High shear mixing pump with homogenisation effect for manufacturing of an emulsion and particle reduced homogenous products with low viscosity.
Designed in Denmark according to EHEDG, EC 1935 (food contact materials) and CE marked. The MixSing Vortex high shear mixing pump is designed for introduction of power into a liquid by a high flow vortex stream.
The MixSing Vortex is designed as a vessel with product recirculation at high-speed creating a vortex in which the ingredients are sucked into the product. The vortex is generated by our MixSing Shear pump. The MixSing Shear pump is designed to generate a homogenisation effect.
Using the latest CFD technologies and 3D design tools, the mixing pump has been optimised to achieve low utility consumptions and noise emissions below 78 dB(a). A 160 mm diameter high shear unit tested on water at 2,600 rpm resulted in a 75 dB(a) noise emission.
To achieve a cost-effective service, the mixer is designed using globally available quality components from OEM suppliers. Brands can be adapted to local requirements.
To improve ergonomics for the operator, the MixSing Vortex is designed with a table on which to rest the bags.
The MixSing Vortex is to be installed in a circulation loop over one or more larger tanks. The liquid is circulated in the MixSing Vortex at high speed by a MixSing Shear pump over a small vessel. In the vessel, a vortex is created as a function of the high liquid flow. The operator manually doses powders and other ingredients into the vortex. The ingredients hereafter pass the high shear pump for dispersing and homogenisation of the product. The product is returned to one or more larger tanks.
Fully flexible in design – although the MixSing Vortex is designed based on industry-leading experience – your customisation requirements can be incorporated. To the extreme, we can customise everything to accommodate your specific requirements (table dimensions, brands, materials, etc.).
In the basic version, the MixSing Vortex is supplied without a control system and MCC; however, upon request, a fully standalone system can be designed and supplied.
The MixSing Vortex is designed for ease of maintenance by the mixing head being installed outside the pump house. This means service can be carried out by local teams.
