Cost effective high shear mixing pump with homogenisation effect for manufacturing of an emulsion and particle reduced homogenous products with low viscosity.
Designed in Denmark according to EHEDG, EC 1935 (food contact materials) and CE marked. The MixSing Shear – high shear mixing pump – is a cost-effective high shear mixer solution for primarily low-viscosity products. High-viscosity products are possible when feeding the MixSing Shear by means of a positive pump. Low-viscosity products can be pumped with a centrifugal pump.
The high shear mixing pump is designed as a standard centrifugal pump and will have a similar performance in terms of pressure and flow and the homogenisation effect.
The mixing pump has been optimised using the latest CFD technologies and 3D design tools to achieve low utility consumption and noise emissions below 78 dB(a). A 160 mm diameter high shear unit tested on water at 2,600 rpm resulted in a 75 dB(a) noise emission.
To achieve a cost effective service, the mixer is designed using globally available quality components from OEM suppliers. Brands can be adapted to local requirements.
In a continuous operation, the strong suction created by the centrifugal forces of the impeller draws liquid and solid ingredients into the MixSing Shear, where they are propelled towards the stator ring. The high shear forces in the opening between the impeller and stator “break down” the individual ingredients and create a mixed product.
Fully flexible in design – although the MixSing Shear is designed based on industry-leading experience – your customisation requirements can be incorporated. To the extreme, we can customise everything to accommodate your specific needs (brands, materials, dimensions etc.). The MixSing Shear is supplied as a single unit; however, upon request, a fully standalone system can be designed and supplied.
The MixSing Shear pump is designed for ease of maintenance by the mixing head (impeller and stator) being installed outside the pump house. This means service can be carried out by local teams.
